2 Bumps

Bad Easter gift?

My oldest daughter who is 5 got glasses in September, my youngest who is 2 has been playing with, trying on and hiding her sisters glasses... So, this year the easter bunny bought my 2 year-old some fake glasses.

We went to my MIL's for breakfast and she freaked out and told me that is was the most awful gift for the Easter bunny to bring.

Was it really a bad idea or is she just freaking out over nothing?

  • Totally freaking out over nothing! That's's not like your 2yo wouldn't have loved them. Just add this to your list of "MIL eye roll moments"

  • Tell your MIL to stuff it. It is a perfectly fine and acceptable gift for your LO. Plus it keeps her from breaking her sister's real glasses.

  • Awe how cute. My 1 year old loves to look like her older sissy, too :) I think the gift was perfect. You got her something she would enjoy and she is happy. That's all that matters.

  • Sounds like a perfect gift for your LO. MIL overreacted.
