  • Yes! lol Puppies are just like human babies...they sleep a lot. They will wake up to eat and potty and to play for a little bit, then go right back to sleep.

  • He's a growing boy! Keep food down at all times for him for at least the first 8-10 months, and make sure he's eating a high quality, large breed puppy food, as smaller breeds have different nutritional needs! And animals don't need corn, it's used as a filler, and gives them high energy, which is NOT what you want for your big guy, so the higher the protein and lower the corn factor, the better off he's gonna be!

Let him sleep, one of these days you'll be wishing he would just go lay down, lol!

  • Just as people do, dogs do most of their growing while they sleep. He's going to be ok mama. But it's good of you to be concerned :) Signs of a good pet owner!!

  • Remember this phrase "Play hard, sleep harder" that is what puppies do. Now if the pup seems lethargic, not eating that sort of thing then I would be worried but if the pup is just sleeping alot that is pretty normal especially for young pups. Like another poster said they are like human babies.
