Any clue why i keep having a paralyzing pain in my hip and right under it?

I am 38 weeks and have had lots of irregular contractions that i thought for sure was going to be the real thing and the past 2 days are bad pressure and this crazy twinging pain in one hip.

  • Pinched nerve most likely. Have you partner help you do some gentle stretching of the hip/leg while you are on your back/side and see if that helps ease the pressure.

  • Ligaments stretching and pressure on the sciatic nerve. I had it for a lot of both of my pregnancies. If you are 38 weeks preg it might be worth calling the on call dr. to see what they say (to ease your mind). Congrats on the pending arrival of your baby!!
