Baby throwing up

i have a 10 day old. i pump as much as i can and feed her that but 1-2 times a day she has formula and almost every time she throws it up. she had similac first and now enfamil and they both made her throw up. what could this be i use the same bottles for the formula and breast milk

  • Did she throw up in the hospital?? I wonder if she has a blockage of some sort and may not be able to keep anything down, I would definately call her doctor asap just to be on the safe side..

  • could be GERD....or acid reflux. some kids have acid reflux really bad and needs medicine for it. ask their pedi

  • mayb she dont like the formula just breast milk..mayb u should go to her dr and see whats wrong with thing..

  • It sounds like she is not tollerating the formula. Is there any way you can give her only breast milk? Some babies just don't do well with formula. You can keep trying different kinds, but this may just be a baby who really needs breast milk.

    It is usually much easier to keep up with baby's needs when breastfeeding directly instead of pumping. If you can't do that, can you pump a few more times each day?

  • i pump as much as i can get out a day i also had a c section so when ever i take my pain pills i get less milk so i try to only take them whem im in alot of pain
