Bread

Is it bad that I store my bread on top of the Refrigerator? I don't have a pantry and I lack space in my Kitchen... Thanks! =D

  • Unless you notice it molds quicker on top of the fridge there shouldn't be a problem. If nothing else and you have a microwave use it to store your bread when not in use.

  • I store my bread in the microwave. And if I buy two bags I put one inside the fridge. It keeps it good till I'm done with th other one.

  • I have mine in a bread box on the counter. I don't see how the top of the fridge would be bad

  • The heat from on top of the fridge will cause it to mold faster.

  • You can also freeze and just take out slices as needed.

  • I used to store mine on top of the microwave but the heat would mess w/ it & make it crusty so on top of the fridge shouldn't be bad.
