Is there any real proof he was born in the U.S? There is so much controversy over this.

Actually, I don't think he says he has the Birth Certificate.
George states at 346 that he has a Certificate that states a record exists.

There is a birth certificate,
It was a 'certificate of live birth' which isn't the legal document that is on file with the Registry of Deeds in the county where he was born. That is the thing. Yours, mine, everyone's birth certificate is a matter of public record. Anyone can get it. But, you can't get his. You can get Jiimmy Carter's, GWB's, Clinton's, but now his. Why? That is what I find so strange.
