What kind of tree is this?

Noticed this tree is flowering today. I cant figure out what type of tree it is though. Do you know?

  • Not sure. Where do you live (state, region), that might give an indication to someone who lives in the same area.

  • It could be a species of Jasmine. There are like 200 different varities. Does it smell really good?

  • I'm no expert, but it does look like some type of Jasmine, but Jasmine usually has a very sweet aroma.

  • Im in South Carolina. I thought it was a Japanese hedge parsley, but they arnt down here in this region.

  • Could be a black walnut tree. The leaf's match as does the picture of what the stem looks like in winter, but the flowers do not match.
