  • It's awfully hard to suggest names that would be meaningful to a stranger on the internet.

  • Just wanted to add I got my info from www.behindthename.com. It is my absolute favorite place to go for looking up names. You can search by origin, meaning, or letter and the site even has brief summary on the history of names for each country/culture of origin their names come from.

  • oh I see...I just saw your first question asking about a name as a last name that could double as a first....I know a lot of people by the last name Martin so I didn't see that as being strange at all....Wouldn't worry about it so much, I think there are a lot of names that go with Martin.... I'm a huge fan of the name Theo that another mom suggested.... Theodore means "gift from God" and people have often thought Theos to be descendant from Zeus..... Theo Martin or Theodore Martin sounds great together.....

  • I know it was suggestion I already made, but I really do like Darius Emem Martin. Darius comes from a Persian name meaning "to possess good" and Emem is African and means "peace."

Do you have a specific meaning you would like your son's name to try and convey? Or even a letter you would like it to start with? That would help us narrow it down and give better suggestions =)

  • It might be helpful if you could give more information about what you don't like, or what you would like the name to mean.....I don't see the challenges in the last name. Lots of things will flow well. Maybe Michael Cole Martin, Gavin Thomas Martin, Chad Stephen Martin......so many possibilities.
