  • Fresh flowers. They look beautiful and can smell wonderful. However, be careful. My mom is very allergic, so although I loved roses, they were a no-show at my wedding. My wonderful husband had a bouquet of roses at home for me later. We had gorgeous non-allergic flowers for the wedding. Guests love taking home the table centerpieces. Flowers don't have to be expensive if you are creative. Be careful with table ceterpieces; make sure the guests can still see each other to have conversation. Hope this is helpful. My wedding was almost 25 years ago!

  • do a combo of both fresh for table settings / carrying things for you and bridal party......fake/plastic (they make really good ones) for things like draping over the alter, swag around the room and so on .......

  • fresh all the way. Get creative to cut cost. When is your wedding, what is the setting, what do you love? My mom used to be a florist, I've got all sorts of creative and cost effective ways to incorporate flowers without busting your budget!

  • I think sometimes you can find really really nice fake flowers. So nice, that you wouldnt even know that they are fake. If youre on a budget I think thats the way to go.

  • Fresh - my son's wedding was all fake except the Zinnias used at the reception.....TACKY, TACKY, TACKY. And yes, you CAN ALWAYS tell if they are fake.

  • We used fresh but some artificial flowers are so nice you wouldn't know they weren't real. I just really wanted real flowers, that was 13 years ago, I might think differently now!
