  • Based on 52 weeks a year, 40 hours a week, it comes out to $14.42/hr. before taxes and deductions.

  • If you are talking a full 40 hour work week providing job. $14.42. However, that is before taxes and deductions. In order to TAKE HOME that amount, you will need a full 40 hours a week at closer to $18-$20 an hour depending on your deductions and whether or not you pay for health insurance, dental insurance or contribute to a retirement plan.

Since most jobs these days are not a full 40 and range closer to 35 that must be taken into consideration as well. You would need to make closer to $16 an hour at that rate in order to take home $30k a year,

  • About 15 depending on how many days you work. I never really had to look at that part, I could make that in about 6 months. All hours set aside!
