How long should you document issues with the ex for? I assume it's to establish a pattern of their behavior but when can we stop or should we?

  • Well, if you have a court date, or a meeting with a lawyer set up, I'd continue until then. Otherwise at least a month or two, depending on how often you have contact with him"

  • When the courts rule in your favor and even then I would continue to document until the child is of legal age just in case the ex ever decides he wants to go back to court.
