Advice Please

What are some great games for a 2yo boy? I'm interested in things that spark his creativity, curiosity and mind.

  • At two... chase and tickle is usually a hit. They don't quite get the concept of hide and seek (I remember Ja popping up and saying HERE I AM" besides not too sure about teaching him to hide from you ... LOL
Also you can turn ANYTHING into a game... find the _____. Singing songs... Finger play songs are a hit. Itsy Bitsy Spider etc. I know there are some websites you can look up for finger games songs they not only teach but encourage fine motor skills. i.e. itsy bitsy reinforces up/down, rhythm, the spiders not easy.
Oh also copy me... do a rythm or a movement and he copies it and vice versa... VERY IMPORTANT LEARNING SKILL... and you can teach body parts. Wheres Alex's head? Where's mommies feet? (usually accmpanied by a tickles)
Any song game. -- head shoulders knees and toes (sis another fun one)...

  • Are you asking about board games, computer games, or video games?

  • Any kind of games really, but I'd prefer a physical activity like hide and seek. I just don't know what he would find fun and engaging.
