  • 2 dozen. Better to have too many than not enough. Most adults I know eat 2-3, and kids 1-2 depending on ages and appetites. Both of my kids (6 and 9) eat 2 eggs each.

  • I'd average 2 per person, maybe a few extra if you have hearty eaters.

  • I have 5 kids - for all 7 of us I make a dozen eggs, but my 9 month old doesn't eat much yet.

  • I usually make 2 a piece- so I would probably use 14 but if I just had a dozen I would just make the dozen

  • 2-3 per adult, 1-2 per child. My eldest child (10) will eat 3 in a sitting, the younger two (4 & 6) will eat at least 2 a piece, sometimes 3. It depends on what else you are serving, and whether or not they are big breakfast eaters.
