Have you ever thought about boiling your white clothes?

I was so frustrated with washing white socks and they still were dirty on the bottom so I googled how to remove stains from whites without that harsh bleach and came across an idea to soak them in boiling hot water for 2 hours in dish detergent to remove stains, rinse them in hot water, and then washing them in your regular clothes detergent in hot water. The socks came out white like brand new YAY my journey has come to an end with buying socks every other week! Just thought I'd share this tip with you all!

  • Thanks for the tip! I never would have thought of this, because I thought hot water "set" the stains. I'm going to try it out though!
