  • we actually started a cool thing at our house a couple summers ago when I couldn't find the shish kabob sticks.... I put a piece of foil down on the grill and just put everything loose on the foil and grill it that way without the sticks and it works out better since you can sorta stir everything around and I can cook the meat for a few minutes before the veggies I know everything is cooked all the way through. We now call it BBQ stirfry

  • One of my favorite fun meals. We do a variety. Marinate different meats chunks in different sauces ( chicken, beef, venison, pork) we also use chunks of non marinated sausages. You can also marinate veggies if you like. Chunk or use miniature veggies and or fruit- Baby onions, baby tomatoes ( caution with tomatoes, if handled rough they will fall off. ) pinapple, pepper, mushrooms whatever you like. I like the wooden skewers. Grill and enjoy. I normally marinate in ziplock bags then bring them to the grill and create. We did a group shish kabob at work -(everyone brought whatever they liked) we had all kinds of fun and interesting flavors. :-)

  • I like applesauce and a ceasar salad for sides with it. Maybe a light cool whip fruit salad

  • I do them several different ways, but my fave is tender lean beef chunks, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, zucchini, asparagus, and red onion. Brush olive oil on them with a sprinkle of sea salt and black pepper. Beforehand though, marinade the beef in your favorite marinade. I do a red wine, sea salt, garlic, and olive oil marinade for mine. Fruit salad is a great side dish to go with it. Or red potato salad.
