  • OMG!!!!! She has not seen anything she was not supposed to,has she. If she has adhd she needs to be on medication to control it.

  • go to the principal or the person in charge and complain about the note and express that you would love a sit down meeting all 3 of you and have the teacher explain what this "grinding" means

  • She was probably just playing with the other child and didn't realize what she was doing was wrong. My 2 and 4 yr old jump on top of each other when they are wrestling or something. Just talk to her about it.

  • Do you have a dog? Maybe they were playing dogs, I dunno its just a shot in the dark. Dogs hump. But for sure sit down and talk to the teacher about what she saw.

Answer by myownhappiness at 11:51 AM on Apr. 26, 2011

  • I would have a meeting with the teacher to see exactly what she saw. This is a 3 year old. They don't exactly know what they are doing can be inappropriate. Can you maybe switch teachers? To send home a not with the work "grinding" is very unprofesional. She should have requested a conference with you.Good Luck.

  • Her "grinding" on another child is not caused from ADHD. Any normal child can do these things, out of pure curiosity or they've seen mommy and daddy doing things and they are imitating or they've seen something on tv. I would just talk with your child and explain to her that its not okay to lay on anyone or whatever it was she was doing..just tell her its not okay to do that. As for the teacher, tell her you have discussed it with your child and if she sees her doing it again, to stop her immediatley and tell her that she can't do that here..trying not to make a huge deal out of it..just to redirect her to do somethign else and for the teacher to keep you informed of any further behavior such as this.
