formula

when you make a 50z bottle of formula how much formula should you put in? Like for a 4oz it says 2 scoops of formula and 6 oz is 3 scoops so what should I put in for a 5oz. thanks

  • It's not a good idea to try to measure in 1/2 scoops. If you put too much powder in, the baby could get dehydrated; if you put too little in, the baby could not be getting enough food. If the baby will only take 5 oz at a feeding then make up a pitcher of it in the morning and keep it in the fridge (it will keep for 24 hours) and fill the bottles to 5 oz out of that.

  • about 32 fl oz...just add it like you would in a bottle, if you want to do the pitcher. i just do 2 1/2 scoops.
