When something is bothering you do you vent out to your spouse?

when i have somthing on my mind or am really bothered by something my husband is always the first to know.. even when it's about him..

  • I dont vent it out to him. sometimes i talk to him about it. but if its not that important i dont.

  • yes we do that too. especially if the issue is about our parents. it feels safer that way and we can limit the drama.

  • Unfortunately my dh is not a very affection person. If it's weighing on me very bad I vent here on CM.

  • Yes, I do. We vent to each other, more me venting to him though. I try to fix things too much and that annoys him. Girls are not supposed to be the fixers, men are. But, I am a fixer, we both are. He gets annoyed because he can't fix my issues, I get annoyed cause he won't let me fix his. I suppose we are entertaining to watch sometimes.

  • Yes, he is my venting buddy and I am his. Plus, he knows me better than I know myself so even when I try to hide that something is bothering me he knows and wants to talk to me about it. I call him my personal Dr. Phil ;-)
