Will orajel help a mouth ulcer?

I can't remember if orajel will help a mouth ulcer . I have one on the inside of my bottom lip and it is irritating the mess out of me.

  • it'll take the edge off, allowing it to heal without driving you crazy.

    also make sure you lay off the salt & citrus and OUCHIE foods (like capn crunch cereal) for at least a week

  • Agree, won't heal it, but will numb a little. You can also ask doc for Lidocaine mouth rinse if it's really bad.

  • Melaleuca oil ( high grade tea tree oil) - I am talking from personal experience - this works and it works fast!

  • Yep it will help to numb it (just don't bit it then!!!) so you can eat or drink or be more comfortable! It won't speed up the healing time tho! OUCH!
