  • Babies are not supposed to have a pacifier in their mouth all the time. My son only took his when he was sleeping. It's good for them to have a break from it, so they can learn how to move their mouth, make sounds, etc.

  • Neither of my kids ever really cared for them. I was glad about it.......then I didn't have to worry about 'trying' to get rid of it later.

  • Because that's not what he wants.

  • Don't know. None of my boys took pacifiers. My daughter, we had an awful time getting her off of hers. I would be happy that he isn't a paci baby. Breaking them can be hard.

  • My older son never took a pacifier, even though there were sometimes I wished he would. My younger son took it, but only for naps.

  • That's an easy answer..he does NOT want it. Stop forcing him. If he doesn't want it, he doesn't want it. My son stopped taking it at 3 months old. A baby does NOT need a pacifier.
