  • Before buying or selling any body care products, it is important to check the safety of the ingredients. I like the Skin Deep database maintained by the Environmental Working Group (the folks who publish the guide to pesticides in produce). www.cosmeticsdatabase.com
Avon and Mary Kay, among others, make a big public show of their support of breast cancer research and victims, yet refuse to stop using cancer causing ingredients in their products.

  • @rkoloms- that is not correct research, Mary Kay products are leading the way in refining their ingrediants to go beyond was is considered safe. In the past before new research was collected of course there were ingrediants used that have come out to be unhealthy but that is true for any product that has sbeen around as long as Mary Kay. We have researchers and clinical trials that go above and beyond to make sure our products are not just acceptable but leading in their ingrediants, results, packaging, and satisfaction.
