What would you do about a tooth turning black/grey?

My 3 y/o's front tooth is turning black/greyish from the gumline and hubby said it felt loose to him; a couple weeks ago he had tripped & fallen but other than a bloody lip I didn't notice anything & he hasn't said anything about it hurting. Am I being paranoid/panicky mom or should I call the dentist & get him in?

  • TAKE HIM TO THE DENTIST. The tooth is dead and may have to have a cap put on it.
