Know any cute poems about daddies and their kids?

I'm planning ahead for Father's Day. I am looking for some neat ideas for poems to put in frames with pictures. I plan on getting some photos of DH with each of the children, DH with all of the children, and DH holding hands with each of the kids (as in, a close up of the hands)...The one of the hands will be in a separate collage frame than the one of DH with the kids. So, really, I'm looking for some poems about fathers and children to put on the mat of the collages :) Any cute ideas?

  • that sounds cool maybe you could help your kids write their own poems and then frame them and have a very light picture in the background of the poem of your DH and the kid who wrote it
    i just googled father/daughter poems and a lot came up so if you wanted to quote some, that could work too, but i think framing the collage would make it a nice gift ;)

  • Hero Dad

    You are my hero, Dad
    You're my secure foundation.
    When I think of you, I'm filled with love
    And fond appreciation.

    You make me feel protected;
    I'm sheltered by your care.
    You're always my true friend; and Dad,
    When I need you, you're always there.

    You have a place of honor
    Deep within my heart.
    You've been my superhero, Dad,
    Right from the very start.

  • Life Lessons

    You may have thought I didn't see,
    Or that I hadn't heard,
    Life lessons that you taught to me,
    But I got every word.

    Perhaps you thought I missed it all,
    And that we'd grow apart,
    But Dad, I picked up everything,
    It's written on my heart.

    Without you, Dad, I wouldn't be
    The (woman)(man) I am today;
    You built a strong foundation
    No one can take away.

    I've grown up with your values,
    And I'm very glad I did;
    So here's to you, dear father,
    From your forever grateful kid.

  • I’m Happy You’re My Dad

    I feel safe when you are with me;
    You show me fun things to do;
    You make my life much better;
    The best father I know is you.

    I’m happy you’re my Dad
    And so I want to say
    I love you, Dad, and wish you
    A Happy Father’s Day!

  • Fathers Day???

    When all the children have grown and gone,
    Which memories of Father will linger on?
    Will it be the times he dried their tears,
    Held them close and calmed their fears?

    The way he always found the time
    To read their favorite nursery rhyme,
    Over and over, time and time again,
    Until they knew it, beginning to end.

    The sleepless nights with an ailing child,
    Father stays there all the while,
    Ministering love with healing hands,
    Spinning tales of faraway lands.

    What memories will follow them as they go?
    All of these, and more I know.
    But most important, can they say, "I had a Father who loved to pray".

  • What Makes a Dad?

    The joy of a morning in spring,
    The faith of a mustard seed,
    The patience of eternity,
    The depth of a family need,
    Then God combined these qualities,
    And there was nothing more to add,
    He knew his masterpiece was complete,
    And He called it - Dad.

  • A Father Means….

    A Father means so many things...
    An understanding heart,
    A source of strength and support
    Right from the very start.
    A constant readiness to help
    in a kind and thoughtful way.
    With encouragement and forgiveness
    No matter what comes your way.
    A special generosity and always affection, too
    A Father means so many things
    When he’s a man like you...

  • What is a Dad?

    A Dad is a person who is loving and kind,
    And often he knows what you have on your mind.
    He’s someone who listens, suggests, and defends -
    A dad can be one of your very best friends!
    He’s proud of your triumphs, but when things go wrong,
    A dad can be patient and helpful and strong.
    In all that you do, a Dad’s love plays a part -
    There’s always a place for him deep in your heart.
    And each year that passes, you're even more glad,
    More grateful and proud just to call him your dad!
