Ready for baby number two.

I had a little boy when I was 18 and his father and I are no longer together. I am in a new relationship now and we are in love and know we want to be together for ever. I am ready for number two i dont nessicarly think he wants kids what can I do convience him or show him i am serious.

  • Word of advice...if he's not 100% on-board with having a child do NOT have one with him or you won't be together "Forever".

  • well if he doesn't want children then you shouldn't. He could up resenting that child.

  • that is what i am thinking but the small detail is has had a little boy before who he lost in a car accident. He feels he could never be a good because he could not protect that one.

  • Oh wow. That is so sad. :( I don'tknow whow peole ever "get over" losing child. He has good reason to be scared... he doesn't want to go through that again. I would be extremely respectful of his feelings. He or you both should maybe to go counseling about this. He has to deal with that death before he can be ready.
