Help w/homemade moisturizing facial mask recipe

I've found several online (seems avocado, honey, and yogurt are typically part of the recipe) but my question is do they actually work? Any advise/experience is appreciated.

  • I believe that most topical treatments are bunk. A lot of the things you hear advertised as good topical treatments can't even penetrate the skin. Some ingredients may make your skin feel softer short term but to make real healthy change to the quality of your skin you need to do it from the inside by eating a nutrient/antioxidant high diet and avoid junk. Drink lots of water and enjoy :)

  • I know baking soda works well for exfoliating.
