Did you have leftover ham from Easter? What did you do with it?

  • Thaw out the ham and put it in a food processor or blender with some mustard, mayo and pickle relish. Grind it all up to be a paste.
Get some fresh pineapple and slice it thin. On the BBQ (or indoor grill), grill the pineapple and set aside. Grill some sweet onion hamburger buns with slices of swiss cheese on top....until melted and toasted. Set aside.
In a pan, heat up ham mixture and use it for a hot spread on the buns...topped with pineapple slices.
Serve with mixed salad with sweet French dressing.

  • I usually make ham/cheddar/potato soup, ham omlettes, grilled ham and cheese sandwiches, ham and cheese crackers, cut it up into cubes and put it on salad.

  • It's great in spaghetti sauce, in place of ground beef. Or, in addition to!

  • Ham salad, ham & eggs, cook it with beans in your crock pot to flavor them, slice thin for sandwiches, in scalloped potatoes for an extra something. Anything you can think of could be good!
