Is it normal for a baby to have discharge from breast after delivery? adult content

my dd who is a little over three weeks old i noticed her breast has a discharge of breast milk/ is this because my hormone levels were so high during pregnancy? and if this is normal how soon does it go away?

  • yes, and vaginal discharge from your baby is normal too if that happens. its also from your hormones.

  • Yes, it is normal . .. it is because of your pregnancy hormones. It'll just go away.

  • yes, my dd had little breast buds. The doc said don't touch them- you don't want to stimulate them. It went away very quickly- like 4 days? I can't remember.

  • Yes, it's from the hormones. Give it a few weeks and if you are concerned mention it to your pediatrician at your next visit.
