2 Bumps

Upset 3 month old

My 3 month old daughter is really upset, and no matter what I do she won't calm down. Her brother threw his sippy cup right at her face 2 hours ago and she is still crying. She has a pretty good bump on her forehead from it. Should I take her to the ER or call her doctor? Idk what to do, nothing like this has ever happened. Please help! :(

  • I should also mention I tried nursing her, cuddling her, rocking her, wrapping her up, everything.

  • I would call your doctor on call so they can give you advice.

  • A baby that young isn't crying because she's upset. Something hurts her. I would at least call the doctor.

  • I would definitely call doctor or talk to someone at the ER to see what they say. More than likely though if she has never acted like this before she is hurt even if it is just a little bit...

  • I called the doctor, and they said as long as she is eating and not acting "weird" she is probably fine other than the crying. Thanks everyone.
