What are the hours my daughter can Work?

She is 15 yrs old. I know she can only work part time. But is it twice or three days a week? or everyday .? And how many hours.Some one told me The hours are after 7am andwork no later then 7pm. So she can either do mornings or afternoons . iS that right.? Sometimes this friend of mine stretches the truth a bit. So I need to know if she's right. Thanks.

  • The laws vary from state to state but in Wisconsin she could only work 3 hours on a school day, 8 hours on non school days and no more than 12 hours a week. And she would have to have a work permit.

  • Here is MA it's no later them 7 pm on a school night and they have to be let out to be able to be home by 9 pm on a non-school night. But Rosehawk is right... Just google minor labor laws in your state

  • Well their are child labor laws and it depends on the state where you live but part time and because of age no heavy machinery or slicer.

  • Laws are different per state,but here you cannot work past 11:00 pm on a school night.
