Is it normal?

Im almost 39 weeks and scheduled to be induced Monday. I have been having contractions but too far apart to go in, yesterday and so far this morning i have not felt baby girl move as much as normal. I will lay in a position that will usually get her moving and i can see where she is and feel her but no movement... She has however moved little light movements and even had the hiccups... should i be worried or is it normal for movement to slow down about this time?

  • It is possible for baby to slow down in movement the farther along you are because baby has less room to move. That said though if you are worried call your doctor. She will probably have you do a kick count. But the best thing to do is call your doctor that is what they are there for to help you. Good luck to you, and Congrats on the new baby.
