I can not believe what I am reading.

I can not believe I am reading women arguing over when to pray and not to pray during a tragedy.

Prayer is needed before, during, and after.

Did you ever think you would read an argument about when the appropriate time to pray would be?

  • Wow ObbyDobbie... is that what you think prayer is about? How sad...

Mrs Bat for a non believer.. you hit it nail on the head .. That was a statement from the Lord Himself. ( Yes God will use non believers to get His point across.)

Praying for someone to die is witchcraft ... period.
Praying that God will intervene and help people through disasters is an AWESOME thing to pray about. If not sure what to pray.. simply say Lord Your will be don on earth as it is in heaven! That is the safest prayer of all.

  • You never stop praying.. sorry!

    Prayers are needed :
Before (that misses loved ones and others)
During (for everyone to stay alive/safe and that the damage is small)
After (for those who lost all and the hurt to have a fast recovery)

  • I posted once about praying for someone that committed suicide and a mom posted what was the point because they were already in hell. I don't know how any one else feels about it, but I still pray for them because who knows what was going on in their lives for them to end it all.

  • IMHO, prayer is never a waste of time. Even after a tragedy happened, a miracle can occur to make ti better.

  • If you believe in prayer at all, it's never a bad time to pray. The only thing that can be bad about prayer is WHAT you're praying ABOUT. For example, praying for someone to die because you don't like them is not a good thing. Praying for people to make it out ok from a disaster and the like is a good thing to pray about.
