  • My oldest son got his bike with training wheels at 2 1/2. He is now 4 1/2 and has taken off the training wheels. My other son, also got his bike with training wheels at 2 1/2 and now at 3 1/2 still doesn't get how to pedal. Every kid is different. He may be able to do it now, maybe not.

  • With dd I got her a trike at 2 1/2 (when her brother was born, lol) She pedaled that right away. Then I got her a bike with training wheels a year later, and the training wheels came off at 5 1/2. By that time, ds had already been playing with the trike since he was 1, so when he was 2ish I got him a bike with traingin wheels, and him seeing his sister and her friends riding around, made him want to do it too! So off they came, a few weeks before he turned 4. HE is now 5 almost 6 and a crazy boy on his bike! lol
