Why do some parents choose NOT to vaccinate their babies?

Why do some moms choose NOT to give their babies the shots they need in order to prevent them from getting major diseases and illnesses?

  • Because there are safer, more effective ways of preventing disease. Because natural immunity is best. Because vaccines are dangerous (just because some don't have a reaction, does not mean they are safe for everyone). Because we have personal choice and some of us research and understand the human body and don't believe vaccines are the way to go. Plus about 100 other reasons ....

  • Some children are sensitive to the ingredients. Some parents feel the risk of some of the ingredients outweighs the potential benefit of the vaccines.

  • Because they're idiots who don't realize you can put ur child in great peril and at greater risk of contracting diseases. Plus the jokes on them because in order to enroll ur child in kindergarten they have to have their vaccines.

  • Because after two of my children had severe, adverse reactions (ie, got the goddamned thing we were trying to prevent), I came to my senses.

  • You do not have to have vaccines to get into kindergarten; there are exemptions.

  • You DON'T have to be vaccinated to attend public school. There are waivers in all 50 states. Some only have medical (I think it's 2 states), some have medical and religious, and others have medical, religious and philosophical exemptions. Just an FYI because not many people realize this.
