What vitamins help with weightloss or energy?

I have always been interested in vitamins and their benefits but wondered what people take to help them lose weight and/or gain energy? I currently take 2000 ius of D but wasnt sure what else people take. I have a whole vitamin catalog but I wanted to hear peoples reviews and experiences with vitamins.

  • I take one B12 a day and it helps me with my energy and when i take it on a daily basis and i watch what i eat, i have had people tell me that i was loseing weight but i havent been taken it and i feel terrable.

  • No vitamins will help with weight loss or energy, even B12. A balanced diet, however, will make a huge difference. You'd be surprised how eliminating processed foods and adding fresh foods can make a difference in both energy and weight loss, as well as meeting your RDA for nearly all vitamins. If you're of child-bearing age, you should be taking a prenatal vitamin, if only for the folic acid.

  • Be careful when taking prenatal vitamins when your not pregnant...they contain alot of iron, and if you have too much you can overdose...my sister had that problem so be careful and watch your iron intake

  • Vitamins don't give energy- calories give energy. Seriously eating a candy bar with 300 calories- that's energy. A balanced diet with a variety of fruits and vegetables can help with your digestion and metabolism. Which can speed up the weight loss process.
