Green Tea

I bought some green tea (trying to be healthier and heard it was good for you and brain function). It is VERY bitter, is green tea normally bitter or is it because I bought the store brand? lol I add a packet of sweetner, but it is still pretty bitter!

  • You may have over-brewed it. Also after you're done, don't squeeze the bag - let it drip a big but squeezing a bag after brewing releases the bitter oils. I like green tea that isn't brewed too strong.

  • Just one tea bag. That's what the instructions said for one cup! It could be too much! lol

  • It does have a slightly bitter taste. Try adding a little bit of honey.

  • I use honey and it seems to be less bitter but I am not a giant fan of it.
