My baby was moving alot and now...

Im 26 weeks pregnant and my babys' movements were outwardly visable and now for the past two days, I have been feeling only slight flutters. Should I be concerned?

  • Drink some water or juice and lay on your left side for an hour or so and see if baby does about 6 "good" or strong movenments, kicks etc... if the juice or water doesn't help after the hour you can call your OB after hours and get some advice. But usally the juice helps. Good luck!

  • Here's one common approach: Choose a time of day when your baby tends to be active. (Ideally, you'll want to do the counts at roughly the same time each day.) Sit quietly or lie on your side so you won't get distracted. Time how long it takes for you to feel ten distinct movements – kicks, punches, and whole body movements all count. If you don't feel ten movements in two hours, stop counting and call your midwife or doctor.
