  • I am really surprised at how many topics and areas of study are being taught to my son in Kindergarten. He learns about music, computer skills, health, biology, geography, measuring, spelling, phonics, manners, hygiene and painting - to mention just a few! I can't believe that my son has been in school for 7 months and he is writing sentences, as well as, reading short stories on his own! I am so proud! (I really don't remember learning all these subjects until 1st or 2nd grade when I was growing up.)

  • Parents in my state mostly seem to send their kids to kindergarten to lear obedience and politeness and all the skills they never bothered to teach them at home :( but schools teach alot more than that too
