i dont think my babys eating enough, how much does, or did ur 8 week old eat within 24 hours?

does anyoe know a good website for a feding chart, im in need....

arianna has been spitting up for 3days now and i dont think shes eating enough, i am starting to record what she eats and how much to call the doc tommrow.. but i wana know how much did ur 8 week old baby eat in 24 hours?

  • Don't rely on what goes in because it can be misleading. It looks like they are spitting up more than they are and there is no way to tell. You want to make sure there are at least 10 wet diapers a day. As long as she is passing it then she's doing okay. As for the spitting up, make sure you burp her really well. If you are bottle feeding then burp every once or so for now. Sometimes there is more than one burp in there so you really have to give her time to get all the bubbles up.

  • Multiply your baby's weight (in pounds) times 2.5 ounces, that's how many ounces of formula she should be eating in 24 hours. If she's been spitting up a lot or showing signs of discomfort I would check in with the dr just to make sure she's not having any reactions to the formula. (I'm assuming your using bottles that is.)
