Anyone remember gumwrapper chains? I made them in the 70's ... anyone else?

  • I used to make them in high school all the time. I would wear them as a choker necklace. That is, until the dye started to change my neck into weird colors lol

  • Mine was super long too! A neighbor of mine actually sent it in to the Wrigley Company and they sent me a nice letter and a year's supply of gum and mentioned how they regularly got gumwrapper items from individuals. Some people were real creative, weaving them into jackets and purses and baskets and such. I don't know what made me recall gumwrapper chains but what a trip down memory lane!
