How can I get my son to sleep through the night?

He wakes up 4 times a night. He is almost a year old now. I figured he would be sleeping through the night.

  • What do you do when he wakes up to get him back to sleep? Is he sleeping in his own crib?

  • It isn't unusual for kids to wake up until 2 or older.

I wake up when I roll over, I wake up when I need to pee, am thirsty, hungry...etc. Only thing is, I am an adult and understand to go back to sleep. He is a baby. He isn't going to understand. Some kids do sleep, but, some just don't. Not much you can do..

  • Wakes up crying um could be a number of things. He's one of those that are very aware of a wet diaper and doesn't like it. Or for some reason he's feeling very insecure., scared. If it was me I would ( and have) co sleep, just so I could get some sleep. Our youngest was like this. The minute he started sleeping with us full time the more sleep we got.
