3 Bumps

Donating Breastmilk

I EBF my baby, but I also started donating to a baby in need. So after nursing my LO, how long should I pump for?

  • 5-10 min. OR you can pump one side and nurse the other switching sides each feed.

I find morning pumpings have the MOST milk and evening pumpings its not really worthwhile to pump after...you can pump between nursings to get more milk...

  • I think you're awesome for doing that! =)
If you want to get the maximum amount and keep it going longest I would aim for 10 minutes per side.
