Why does my ultrasound match up with my period? is that true that ultrasounds tell you time since lmp and not conception

  • They measure your baby in weeks I am sure you know that already but yes the 'weeks' start before you ever conceive. They start counting from the first day of you last period. If you are 8 weeks pregnant then you presumable conceived 6 weeks ago even though your you are 8 weeks pregnant.

  • oh okay so if it was implantation bleeding the ultrasound would know that?
