Has anyone ever had a blood pregnancy test and it be wrong?

  • it looks for the hormones that help carry a pregnancy to term, hCG, estrogen & progstatin(or something like that) Its the same hormone used in birth control.

  • They test for the prescence of Hcg. If there is no Hcg you aren't pregnant.

  • wrong with my second child i knew i was pregnant went to the doctor and both blood and urin test said i was negative so i blew it off two months later i went back cause the symptoms was worse comes to find out i was 2 months and 9 days pregnant and i think its happening again now,

  • It's not 100% accurate because your levels may be low enough where it's not detecting them but usually it's very accurate

  • Thanks so much lilma966 thats exactly what I was wanting to hear...cause I just know I am pregnant...I feel like it I have already had two kids... and I just FEEL pregnant you know....now I am 11 days late....almost two weeks...go back to the doctor week after next to get stuff checked out....but thanks!!
