Hey mamas! Yard sale donut price question.

My hubby bought a box of $5 entemann's (?) devil's food cake chocolate donuts.

SO in doing the math they are .63 each. WOuld you pay .75 for ONE donut?

He & I didn;'t buy them to make a lot of money but wanted something to munch on and offer.

Be honest!

  • Well I think that is about the going rate for a DD (.65-.75 each).

  • If kids were selling them, I'd easily pay a dollar. That's the key. The kids win people over, lol.

  • Not me, especially being they're not fresh and at a yard sale where everything feels used and just a teeny bit dirty, if you know what I mean! LOL! But I know some people would, so go for it!

  • Haha! My kids are actually going to a friend's- So yeah just us old adults!

Well gosh, I guess you're right!! Thanks!! I was in a yard sale mind-set (.25) but I gess .75 would be ok to ask and if they don't sell, my family will eat them this week. Thanks!!!

  • Thanks for being honest, I can see where you're coming from! And yes, free coffee, well I forgot to buy disposable styrofoam or some type of cups or mugs! Sigh.

  • I'd mark 'em a buck. I'd rather fork over a dollar bill than dig out 3 quarters or have to figure out where to stick the lonely returned quarter.
