How is it being a medical assistant?

I work in the legal field but it's so hard to move up past being a receptionist and just admin support based on my gender and age. Plus it's boring! I thought about maybe going through a program to become a medical assistant for a stable and different job.

  • I did it in the military. It's a job that's always needed for sure!

  • It depends on what you want out of it, here in CA. it doesn't pay much more that a minimum wage job. I went to school for MAing, I mean it's fun and all, never boring if you work in a high volume clinic, but if you're in it for the money and want to get a good paying career quickly, I'd say go for LVN. Good luck ;)
