  • I think it depends on your babies age and the supply/demand!

  • as many ounces as I had bottles for. I was a pumpin' machine!

  • When I was pumping I could get 12-16 extra ounces a day for awhile. It was crazy. What was even more crazy is how quickly my daughter would drink everything up!

  • When dd was 3 monts old I would pump 8-10 ounces in 3 sessions during the 10 hours I was away for work, I only worked 2 days a week so I just pumped on the other days to get extra

  • i think drinking lots of water and pumping increases your milk.

  • I was never able to get anything more than an ounce when I pumped but both my kids did fine with breastfeeding. I tried with my Medela electric pump, I tried with a rented hospital pump, tried with a manual pump and even tried hand express...nothing more than an ounce. Finally gave up on the pumping.

  • I could never get a good letdown for my pump. My best was about 6 ounces in a session but generally I got an ounce or so. My kids nursed and didn't want bottles which worked for all of us.

I applaud moms who exclusively pump.  I found it was twice the work.

  • I can pump 10-12oz per pump and I pump 3 times a day so around 30 or 34 oz per day. Drink a lot of milk and eat oatmeal will help
