Need your help please

my son had his tonsils out on thursday and he seems hungry so ill give him applesauce or jello etc but hes getting tired of it. what are some soft foods i could give him?

  • how old is he? you could give him some of the 3rd baby foods. some of that stuff is quite tasty.

    Potato soup is good. Sherbet. bean soup.

  • Ooh, stay away from anything dairy (yogurt, ice cream, pudding, etc) - my DD had hers out when she was just 4 and dairy was so bad - it is for anyone because it makes the mucus thicker & it's harder & more painful to swallow. DD ate a lot of mashed potatoes (instant made thin), soups (ones that had nothing in them, or stuff like chicken & stars but she wouldn't eat the chicken), pasta that was cooked extra soft, but jello really was her favorite thing. A friend of mine who just had hers out this week has been making smoothies, using fruits that don't have seeds with some juice, and eating them with a spoon - she said that's her favorite thing.
