2 Bumps

Ohhh baby! 2 days late, when should i test?

With my first son i never expected to be preggers and thought to myself one day, man i havent had a period in long time..maybe i should check that out! lol As ive matured ive paid closer attention to my time of the month and am currently 2 days late. I dont have any period symtoms..no sore boobies, no bloating, no pain..which i always get atleast a week before my period..and no, it wouldnt be a shocker this time lol

  • I would buy a reg test and one that you can test up to 5 days early. Take them 1 week apart and see what you get!

  • 2 days? LOL.
When I was pregnant....pregnant.....I had to wait until my second period had been missed and then have a Doctor do a blood test for pregnancy. There were no home pregnancy tests. I think these tests are making Moms impatient and driving them crazy!2 days? Hehehe. I would wait about 10 days. Those home pregnancy tests are not cheap. Why waste the money so early?

  • Heh. My husband could tell I was pregnant at least a week, maybe two, before my period was due; with my second. I waited until I was officially late and took the E.P.T. and yep, sure enough I was.

My first pregnancy was NOT planned, or expected, but when I was a few days late I took an E.P.T. and got a positive. Both were also officially confirmed by my doctor after I took the home test.

  • If your cycles are regular and you're late I'd take a pregnancy test now. Implantation usually happens 6-12 days after ovulation, if you're late the test would most likely be accurate. I had a blood pregnancy test and positive HPT 14dpo (days past ovulation).

  • Go ahead and do so now. If you get a negative and still no cycle check again in a few more days.
