  • I boiled them ONCE, when I bought them. Beyond that, I didn't ever sterilize.

  • I boiled the nipples when they were new and that was pretty much it. We used Playtex Drop-ins so I didn't worry abut the bottle itself.

  • When my kid was a week old I quit boiling everything to death. She never got sick and she is totally fine.

  • We only boiled them when new. When I felt like they had been used a lot I would just replace them...

  • When she stopped using them. I have a sterilizer that was really easy and simple, and used it at least once a day.

  • Way back when, I used glass bottles and had an electric sterilizer. I sterilized the nipples and bottles for the first several months. My first baby was completely bottle fed and I regretted not nursing him later on after I had more children whom I nursed.

  • We sterilized our son's bottles until he was right around 1 but I don't think that long was necessary and I won't be doing it that long for this baby.

  • Honestly, once my twin boys started crawling/scooting/whatevering around and putting every toy, piece of furniture, book, keys, etc in their mouth I realized that the bottles were the smallest of my worries at that point lol
