  • 9.99 percent of the time nature knows what it is doing and doesn't make a baby bigger than the mama can handle. My DS was 10 pounds(his brothers were just as big!) and my kids were both born under 8. Don't worry to much.

  • with my first I was 5'5 and a half at 120 pounds before gettinf pregnant. By the time I delivered I was at 183 or 185 I gained a total of 65 pounds with her. She end up being 8.1. My second baby again at 5'5 and a half I was 138 this time and gained 43 pounds she was 8.7. This pregnancy at 5.5 and a half I was 138 and have already gained 45 pounds I am 25 weeks and 4 days this baby is already measuring bigger than the other 2. I am at 183 already yicks. I was 3 pounds when I was born and my mom and grandma all had 6-7 pound babies so that wasn't from my moms side lol. My bio dad however was 10 pounds at birth and my dh for a twin 7 pounds lol

  • Watch what you eat, especially in your last trimester. Cut out sugars and all grains/wheats, etc.

It worked for us--husband is 6'2" 250lbs, and I'm 5'9" 200lbs., and both were "big" babies. Our little one at birth was only 7 lbs 11 oz...
